Family Support and Wellbeing
Family Support Team
Our vision is to provide support to children, parents and families at the earliest opportunity with a focus to improve outcomes for children. We pride ourselves on working in an honest and transparent manner with families adopting an holistic and non-judgemental approach. We can provide support across a number of topics including social, emotional and financial issues or we can just provide a cup of tea and a listening ear.
Based in the Family Support Hub we offer an open door policy with a nurturing and informal environment separate to the main school buildings.

Monthly Coffee Mornings
Our Family Support Workers hold monthly, informal Coffee Mornings on the first Thursday of each month at The Family Hub where parents/carers/families from both The Meadows and Springfield are welcome to call in for a chat, support and to share information/ideas with other families. Occasionally, there will be a focus to these Coffee Mornings and other agencies will also be on hand to offer information and support, we have recently had visits from Tinsdale Solicitors, Caudwell Children and Our Space. If you have any suggestions for future visits or would like to promote something yourself please get in touch.
The next meeting will be held on : Unfortunately we are currently unable to offer these sessions due to COVID.
As always everyone is welcome; we always look forward to seeing as many parents and carers as are able to attend. If you are unable to attend any of these meetings, Sarah or Kieron are available to meet with parents and carers at a mutually convenient time.
